Our group member Kyro Odysseas Kosmatos will give an oral presentation at the 5^th Chemistry Conference of Graduate, Postgraduate Students and PhD Candidates of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki that will take place at Thessaloniki, Greece between 2-3 April 2022.

We welcome the newest member of our Research Group, Dimitrios Karfaridis.

Dimitris is a Postdoctoral Researcher on X-ray based material Characterization methods, with a master's degree and PhD in the field. He is an expert in X-ray photοelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). We expect him to be a great asset to us and has much to offer to our, now common, goals of the GRAFEL project.

We welcome the newest member of our Research Group, Ioannis Polyzos.

Ioannis is a Postdoctoral Researcher on Raman Spectroscopy and Treatment of 2D materials via LASER based techniques, with a master's degree and PhD in the field. He is an expert in Raman spectroscopy, mechanics response of 2D materials and two-photon absorption. We expect him to be a great asset to us and has much to offer to our, now common, goals of the GRAFEL project.

Two new positions have opened in our group for Postdoctoral Researcher specialized in Materials Characterization, Surface Physics and Treatment of 2-diminsional materials.

Dimitris is a Postdoctoral Researcher on Synthetic Organic Chemistry with a master's degree and a PhD in the field. He has considerable expeirence in Chemical Synthesis of Organic Molecules. We expect him to be a great asset to us and has much to offer to our, now common, goals of the GRAFEL project.

A new position has opened in our group for a Postdoctoral Researcher specialized on Organic Chemical Synthesis.
The scope of the position is "Synthesis and characterization of new nanomaterials through chemical functionalization of graphene and its oxidized products.".

Our group member Emilia Papasouli attended the 4^th Chemistry Conference of Graduate, Postgraduate Students and PhD Candidates of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki that took place (virtually) at Thessaloniki, Greece between 20-21 March 2021.

We welcome the newest member of our Research Group, Theopoula Asimakidou.

Theopoula is a Postgraduate student working towards her MSc in materials characterization via X-ray based methods. She is a member of the Laboratory of Advanced Materials and Devices of the School of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Physics and Material Technology all from the Department of Physics of the University of Thessaloniki.

She has considerable expeirence in the study of molecular systems via X-ray photοelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). We expect her to be a great asset to us and has much to offer to our, now common, goals of the GRAFEL project.

Ms. Theopoula Asimakidou is a PhD student specializing in materials characterization via X-ray based methods. She is a member of the Laboratory of Advanced Materials and Devices of the School of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Her research activities are focused on the material growth and study via X-ray photοelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

We welcome the newest member of our Research Group, Aikaterini Gounari.

Katerina is a Postgraduate student working towards his MSc in Computational and Quantum Chemistry. She has considerable expeirence in the study of molecular systems via Quantum Chemical methods. We expect her to be a great asset to us and has much to offer to our, now common, goals of the GRAFEL project.
