Our group members Emmanuel Klontzas, Ioannis Skarmoutsos, Matina Douka and Aimilia Papasouli attended the International Scientific Conference Graphene 2021 that took place in Grenoble, France between 26–29 October 2021.

Our group members Emmanuel Klontzas, Ioannis Skarmoutsos, Dimitrios Andreou, Ioannis Lykakis, Rafael Lingas, Matina Douka and Aimilia Papasouli attended the 35th Panhellenic Conference on Solid State Physics and Materials Science that took place Virtually (online) in Athens, Greece between 26–29 September 2021.

Our group members Emmanuel Klontzas, Ioannis Skarmoutsos, Rafael Lingas and Aimilia Papasouli attended the Ab initio Modelling in Solid State Chemistry (MSSC) Summer School 2021 that took place Virtually in Imperial College London between 20–24 September 2021.

Our group member Emilia Papasouli attended the 4^th Chemistry Conference of Graduate, Postgraduate Students and PhD Candidates of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki that took place (virtually) at Thessaloniki, Greece between 20-21 March 2021.

At this year’s Thessaloniki International Fair (September 7–15) the HFRI was hosted at Booth 13 of the Ministry of Development and Investment, at Stand 31. The Objective of the HFRI's presence at the country's largest exhibition event was to inform the public about the Foundation's dynamics, role, purpose and mission as a key pillar of support for research and innovation in the country and as a catalyst in stopping the outflow abroad of Greek scientists.

Our group members Emmanuel Klontzas and Ioannis Skarmoutsos will attend the 12^th PanHellenic Scientific Conference on Chemical Engineering that will take place in Athens, Greece between 29–31 May 2019.
We look forward to this event, to present our latest research and discussing with other research groups and colleagues, and even establishing new collaborations.
